I wrote the lyrics to this song in June 2020, on the occasion of the death of the African-American George Floyd at the end of May 2020, triggered by police violence. Afterwards, there were violent demonstrations against systematic racism in the USA. Again, recently, there was such an incident in the US. I think we all are not free of prejudices, especially not against people of other origin or with migration background. That's why I would like to bring this topic to the attention of all of us with my song. We must never give up working on it, because we are all just human beings. I publish this song only now, because I was not satisfied with the first version.

You are not white, you’re not colored, you are not yellow,
No, you're just human
Just a person, who wants to be happy.
Just like everybody else, that's what you’re aiming for.
The sense of your life, that you’re fighting for.
Be strong and persistent, the way you already are.

So never give up and stay optimistic, so you give your life sense.

You have been waiting far too long for this, far too many demonstrations all the time.
That have been useless. It will still take time to reach the goal.
The eternal yesterdays can’t be enlighted, how can we convert their spirit?
Try over and over again, it can only succeed this way
And then perhaps one day, the sun will rise for all.
