Wir leben mittlerweile in einer Welt der Selbstdarstellung. Neue Jobs, wie Influencer sind sogar dadurch entstanden. Einige Menschen können inzwischen davon leben und beeinflussen durch ihre Blogs etc. das Leben von Millionen anderer Menschen. Für Ihre Blogs brauchen sie natürlich entsprechendes Bildmaterial. Und so hat irgendjemand irgendwann damit angefangen von sich selbst Fotos bzw. Videos zu machen. Und so entstand dann der Begriff „Selfie“. Manche nehmen dabei ziemliche Herausforderungen an, manche bringen sich und/oder andere sogar dabei in Gefahr. Diese Thematik hat mich zu diesem Lied inspiriert. Viel Spaß damit.

We now live in a world of self-promotion. New jobs, such as influencers, have even emerged as a result. Some people can now make a living from it and influence the lives of millions of other people through their blogs, etc. For their blogs, of course, they need appropriate image material. And so, at some point, someone started taking photos or videos of themselves. And that's how the term "selfie" came about. Some take on quite a challenge, some even put themselves and/or others in danger. This topic inspired me to write this song. Have fun with it

Kopfüber im Karussell geklebt
Über Abgründe gesprungen, wie Batman im Film.
Erst letztens noch am Pacific Rim.
Hochhäuser erklommen, war dabei ganz benommen.
Knapp vor der Bahn gesprungen,
mit wilden Tieren gerungen.
In Stromschnellen geschwommen,
mit Drachen geschwebt,
ach, wie hat er dabei so intensiv gelebt.

Er war wie beseelt, kein Wagnis zu schwer.
Doch wofür das alles
Fragt man sich ganz klar.
So viel Mut oder Wahnsinn sind schon rar.
Doch sein Blog braucht Fotos und davon viel mehr.
Drum schiesst er nun Selfies, die liebt er so sehr
