Many of my friends are soccer fans. So the idea came up to write a soccer song for them. It's fascinating how sports can inspire us and connect us - across all borders and values. Thus, sport and especially soccer has a quality that unites people. Especially in soccer you can see how important team spirit and the willingness to perform of each player are for the result. That's what I try to express in my song. Sport and music connects the world and I hope I can contribute to that. It's just a shame that everything is becoming increasingly commercialized and the sport itself is falling more and more into the background. I hope that I can support the enthusiasm for this sport and the World Cup.

I'm looking forward to the game, it means a lot to me. How they run, how they chase, just to beat the other team
My team is in good shape, the injured are all back on deck
Took a long time too, the recovered players are now trying their best

It's about time, the championship is not far away.
Now they have to give it their all, not just talk a big game.

The second half goes quite well, but suddenly their own courage fails them.
The score is leveled and that`s a shame. The last few minutes are exciting and I am very edgy.
