Tropical Nights

I wrote the lyrics to my song "Tropical Nights" in the hot summer of 2018. And in the summer of 2022, we are already experiencing quite a few tropical nights again. We have all probably already experienced that it is so hot in the so-called tropical nights that you can hardly sleep. If then also open window neighbors in the garden next door party it is with the sleep completely over. That inspired me to write this song. This song has already been published in German in 2021.

It's so muggy and so hot, you’re tossing and turning
You're sweating from the heat, you can't even think of sleeping,
Open windows, there’s still no breeze, you can’t find any sleep in your bed
Through open windows you hear the neighbors singing, they are painting the town ed
Tropical nights are for celebrating, the weather therefore's just wonderful
Sleeping is impossible, so why not join a party so cool
They are laughing and singing, full of joy and lots of fun
Only you can't sleep, with all the parties, You are getting mad with so much noise.
But moaning and groaning is of no use, just relax and don’t make a fuss
Go down to the neighbors and join in the fun, because you can't sleep anyway.
Tropical nights are for celebrating, the weather therefore's just wonderful
Sleeping is impossible, so why not join a party so cool
